Eligibility Criteria of SASTRA University B.Tech 2017 Admissions

• Aspiring candidates who desired to appear for SASTRA University B. Tech  2017 Admissions , are required to have passed in the 12th examination with Mathematics & Physics as compulsory subjects with either Chemistry /Bio-Technology/Computer Science/Biology as optional/Vocational subjects.
• Candidates should have passed from any recognized State Board/Central Board or any other equivalent examination, with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry or Bio-Technology or Computer Science or Biology obtained in a single sitting.
• Applicants with diploma in Engineering/Technology can apply for direct admission to the second year of the relevant B. Tech. Programme.
• There is no Age limit.

Selection process of SASTRA University  B.Tech 2017 Admissions

Sastra University will select 70% of the aspiring applicants for SASTRA University B. Tech 2017 Admissions on the basis of their performance in JEE Main 2016 and 12th examinations conducted by various boards across the country.
Selection for the remaining 30% of seats, will be done on the basis of the normalized aggregate 12th marks.

The exam pattern is based on the JEE Main 2017 exam.
